Serving as Priest-in-Charge since 2008, Patsy lives with her husband George in Nacogdoches, Texas. She is an influential minister and spiritual mentor in the Northeast Convocation of the Episcopal Diocese of Texas.
Serving at St. Matthew's since 1992, Mary has raised two of her children, as well as, one granddaughter while in office. We are grateful to have Mary as a key member of our St. Matthew's family.
A talented and well-experienced musician, Jack Brooks has acted as our organist since 2021, weekly providing music coordination for all of our church services.
Annual celebration of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi offers a public expression of the special bond we have with the animals in our lives and reinforces our kinship with all creatures great and small.
The Order of the Daughters of the King® is an order for women who are communicants of the Episcopal Church that seeks to share in a life of prayer for themselves and for others.
The St. Matthew's Pumpkin Patch is an annual event during the month of October each year. We offer community-wide events like pumpkin painting, as well as a wonderful array of pumpkins to welcome Fall!
Our weekly open plate offerings contribute to local non-profits in our community. Working together with these organizations allows us to offer support, give gratitude and share joy with our neighbors.
We care for our neighbors and share God's love and compassion by preparing meals for those within our community that find themselves in need.
Community of Hope International equips lay people to serve pastoral care. Having completed this training, members serve as lay ministers to our elderly and as chaplains with area medical organizations.
